The day we got the keys!
We finally got the keys on Tuesday 30th May 2006 and wasted no time at all in getting in to the shop and building stuff!
The car full of all the wood that we reclaimed and recycled from all kinds
of places, in fact so far we have only spent a tenner on wood for the
shopfitting, doncha just love recycling!
Ah, just look at the joy on Rikki's face when he opened the shop for the
first time! Well the first time since we got the keys anyway.

Sometimes you have to destroy to create, plus it's fun
Early on in the day we covered the windows delaring our intentions. Unfortunetly
because I designed and printed the posters the word 'coming' (as in
coming soon) was mispelt, doh!
We were really lucky to have our mate Dom help us building a counter.
By 'help' I do of course mean that RIkki and I stood around scratching
our heads like spare sticks at a poking party.
Not to say we didn't have a go at looking busy of course, just look how
deep in thought Rikki is in this photo
Dom with his 'big tool'
Remember that photo further up the page with rikki holding a metal frame?
Well here's Rikki and Dom replacing the legs on that table! It's more
of a skill than it looks as the floor in the shop is as even and straight
as Arthur Daily.
Ah, sitting back and enjoying a job well done.
